I decided to paint a woman in the Italian countryside drinking wine and reading a book. I hope one day when all of this is all over I can be the girl in the painting and travel.

What is Art?

At the beginning of the semester, I thought art was subjective or only based on what people were thinking. I also thought art only had a couple of mediums like painting, drawing, watercolor, etc. After hearing, seeing, and learning about many artist's stories the meaning of art has become more blurred to me in a way. Art can be almost anything and everything you want it to be really. In conclusion, you could say I’ve added more knowledge behind what the meaning of art is. The most interesting artist was Micol Hebron and her male nipple art…

The Profession of Interest: Nurse Practioner

  1. Arroyo Grande Community Hospital- They are located close to my home town and are a decently big community hospital. They have many services from General surgery to cancer care. They were founded in 1986, as one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit health care systems and the largest Catholic health care system based in the Western United States.

I’m most interested in a shadowing program they offer in the summer for Physicians and nurses. I applied this year, but unfortunately, the program was canceled due to COVID. …

I did not know Jacey at all before this activity, but after I think I got to know her a little more. She's very easy to talk to it almost felt natural instead of forced interaction. I think this is a very nice way to get to know people during the pandemic, and this would especially be helpful in my other classes. The only other way I could possibly think of making new friends is by asking questions in class and engaging because it's almost likely people are feeling the same way. I am in discord in almost every class…

  1. My original idea was to express a political topic I am passionate about.
  2. My original image was to make this a GIF and make my political topic come to life, but I couldn’t figure out how to do it.
  3. I think my project is somewhat a success, I liked how it turned out visually.
  4. I think my project is not as strong as I would like it to be if I spent a lot of time on it I think my visual would be better. I was rushed for time and couldn’t put as much detail into it.
  5. I like…

I am not completely sure what I want to do, but I want to explore a political issue of racism, equal rights, mental illness stigma, etc. I want to do something I feel strongly about so I am more motivated to do it, and I would have a good way of putting my point across. I plan to use my tablet and transform it into a video or gif to make it “modern”. The only concern I have is time and my own drawing capabilities. If I don’t completely like something I will start completely over, which can take up a lot of time.
